We get it. People are busy. House maintenance takes time. However, people undertake spring cleaning each year because it makes sense. It helps maintain your appliances, cleans your fabrics, and is sometimes the only chance you get to spot a problem with something in your house BEFORE it turns into a collosal (and expensive) headache.
The folks at Good Housekeeping have created a handy 30-day checklist that takes you through spring cleaning one task at a time with tips on each task. You don't have to stick to the 30-day format (though it makes for a really painless approach) and we're not thrilled that the people doing the work in the graphics are all women (except the "professional" dude on the tall ladder) but the list itself is pretty great. Take a look for yourself! Print off the checklist below and then scroll through the checklist on their site.
